Spanish Lake Restoration Project in the News!

April 29, 2023
by Larry Conant

Bright-eyed would be understated and bushy-tailed would trivialize the pervasive enthusiasm omnipresent among the extraordinary GRMMN who worked tirelessly to a beautiful patch of Spanish Lake County Park of evil honeysuckle. As bald eagles soared above, three GRMMNs, and a friend, frolicked frivolously and toiled tirelessly in the tranquil territory surrounding Spanish Lake, heartily hacking honeysuckle, and bashing bold bits of, barf-beckoning, tastelessly tossed trash, at today’s Spanish Lake Fun Day. Barbara Stephenson, Carl Davis, Pat Behle, and Larry Conant demonstrated the predictable giddy merriment of this group of lovely laborers. See ya in October!

And here’s what the Missouri Department of Conservation had say about Larry’s team on their website on April 19.:

Thank You MDC Volunteers! Your dedication is essential to conserving and protecting our natural resources. The ideas and positive energy you bring will last for generations. We greatly appreciate the immeasurably valuable time you have given to the State of Missouri. THANK YOU!
