Every Monday morning I hear voices gathering in the gardens of Powder Valley Nature Center amidst the morning bird calls. At least six, often more, eager gardeners come help tend to the flowers, spread mulch, plant new beautiful designs, spread or gather seeds…….. they come because they care about the wildlife the natives attract, they come for kindred spirit sharing, and for the tasty treats. They leave with sore muscles and the feeling of accomplishment of doing good things for Mother Nature.

Come join us or at least stop by Powder Valley to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
